Three Feet Away From Gold

Date Posted: Feb. 2, 2020

There is a story of a mining team who stopped digging without knowing that they are just three feet away from the ore. It is from Napoleon Hill's book, "Think and Grow Rich," an old book written before World War II.

I googled it once again to see how it propagated, realizing that the concept was over-used already. At any rate, it is still an interesting idea to ponder.

Journals like this are for people who are lost and randomly looking for an answer at the moment. And if they get stumbled on this, it is a reminder not to chicken out immediately when the going gets tough. You should stop for a moment, re-think the possibilities that it is just within reach already.

Resistance. Its favorite game is to topple you off when you are about to finish the task. Resistance is happy to see you turn back from an important goal and quit.

Test your perseverance!
